Flexible Shaft Couplings 

 | Flexible Shaft Couplings are capable of absorbing the static and dynamic misalignment which inevitably occur between two nominally in line rotating shafts. The new generation of UNISOFT spiders are the best subject matter of a thorough CAD analysis and practical dynamic tests. Also available couplings in ready to install finished bores. Today UNISOFT is a famous name in the field of mechanical power transmission couplings, and has the expertise to offer the most optimal drive line solution, either from the standard manufacturing programmer comprising of over two hundred design combinations, or by manufacturing a tailor made coupling for a specific application. UNISOFT couplings are torsionally flexible and capable of attenuating the torsional oscillations because of the damping characterstics of the spider and the drive inserts. Nylon Sleeve Gear Couplings
Nylon couplings are compact and require no lubrication. They operate over a wide temperature range at speeds up to 5,000 RPM and are effectively used in applications such as Motor/ Generator sets, pump sets, and many light to medium duty industrial coupling applications. No lubricants are ever required, eliminating the need for seals. The resilient nature of the nylon material makes the contact of the hubs and sleeves almost frictionless. Since no lubrication is used, the coupling can readily be adapted to many applications including vertical and blind installations where the slip-together components offer easy inspection and adjustment. Operationally, the coupling offers a minimum backlash solution that will operate in ambient temperature environments from -40° to 150° F. Nylon Sleeve couplings have precision molded sleeves and hubs with no bolts, pins, flanges, or protrusions to affect balance or safety. The nylon sleeve permits misalignment up to 5° for dentex and nyflex couplings and 3° for the mite. when completely assembled, the mite coupling weighs less than 1lb and the Nyflex only 3.50 lbs. |

Chain Sprockets
Modern metallurgy has greatly increased the useful life of automotive gears. Automotive gears transmit torque and rotation through an angle from a power source to the driven member. Extreme pressure gear oil is a lubricant for automotive gears and bearings. Automotive gears are machined from wrought bar stock and subsequently heat treated to develop the required surface hardness and tooth bending fatigue durability. Automotive gear ratio is the number of turns of the drive wheels in relation to the number of turns of the engine. If the engine is considered the input and the drive wheel is considered to be the output then the input gear or the pinion is said to mate with the output gear or the ring gear to drive or rotate it. Gears play an important role in trucks, car, buses, motor bikes and even geared cycles. These gears control speed and include gears like ring and pinion, spiral gear, hypoid gear, hydraulic gears, reduction gearbox. Depending on the size of the vehicles, the size of the gears also varies. There are low gears covering a shorter distance and are useful when speed is low. There are high gears also with larger number of teeth. These high gears cover a longer distance with one revolution of pedal. We do also have supply of sprockets as per customer's required sizes. |
